Nursing scholars have discovered that younger professionals may have the technical skills necessary, but not the emotional skills to handle the rigors of the job. To combat the burnout problem, forward-thinking nurse educators are incorporating resiliency training. Marketing and advertising professionals (also in the “empathy business”) could learn from nurses.
